How to use the list of medicinal products

Creating you own list of medicinal products enables you to:
• calculate your own share of the payment when purchasing medicinal products
• e-mail your list of medicinal products so that it is always available
• print your list of medicinal products for you to take it to the doctor or the pharmacy.

How to add medicinal products to the list
Use three clicks to add a medicinal product to the list:
1. Find the medicinal product on which you require information.

2. To access product data about a specific medicinal product, click om the row of the product in the search result.

3. You can add the medicinal product to the list of medicinal products from the page comprising the medicinal product data by clicking the button "Add medicinal product to the list of medicinal products".

You may select a synonymous medicinal product under medicinal product data (item 2). If you wish to add the synonymous medicinal product to the list of medicinal products, you repeat items 2 and 3.
When you have added the medicinal product it will appear with name (of medicinal product), strength, package size and price on your list of medicinal products. You can now repeat the search and add all the medicinal products you need on your list of medicinal products.

Calculate your payment
Having selected and added medicinal products to your list of medicinal products, you may calculate your own share of payment as well as see the amount you will be reimbursed upon purchasing the selected medicinal products. Click "Calculate your payment" at the bottom of the list of medicinal products, and follow the three steps:

1. Enter basic information – Select the patient group to which you belong. Enter your CTR balance. Select "Yes" or "No" depending on whether you receive special reimbursement for your medicine from the Danish National Health Service. If you are reimbursed from the municipality, you may enter the percentage in the bottom field. Now click "Next".

2.  Enter your purchase of medicinal products – Here you can select the number of packages by adjusting the number in the column "Select number". You can select which medicinal products you wish to include in the calculation by selecting the checkboxes in the column "Select". When you have made your selection, click "Calculate your own share of payment for this purchase".

3. Result – Here you can see what you have to pay yourself as well as the reimbursed share of the purchase. You can see from the details what amount you would reimbursed as well as your own share of payment of each individual medicinal product. Furthermore, you can make a new calculation with the same medicinal products.

It is always possible to add or delete medicinal products on your list of medicinal products.
